Often we think that God must be mad at us for our performance in our lives, but he is not. We have to remember that although he does not approve of our actions at times, his love and kindness toward us, and his approval of us does not change.
Psalm 100: 5 For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.
Jeremiah 31: 3 The Lord hath appeared of old unto me, saying, "Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with lovingkindness have I drawn thee."

I. John 4: 10; 19
Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
We love him, because he first loved us.

Psalm 130: 7- 8 O Israel, put your hope in the Lord, for with the Lord is unfailing love and with him is full redemption. He himself will redeem Israel from all their sins.

Romans 5: 8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still siners, Christ died for us.
God loved us before we were ever born. He loved us so much that he saw down the corridors of time and space and saw you and every sin you would ever comit and nailed them all to the cross with Jesus. He placed all your sins upon His Son and Jesus (God incarnate) poured out his blood and life for you in spite of all your faults and weaknesses. He is a loving heavenly Father who wants nothing less than the best for you whether you deserve it or not.
Ephesians 2: 4- 7 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.
God doesn't wait for us to reach some level of goodness or perfection before He will love us. He loved us even when we were lost sinners. God may hate sin but he never hates the sinner. He hates sin because it is the opposite of love and anything that isn't love hurts us, others and God. The opposite of love is not hate, its sin.

Its nice to hear this. So often I feel like God must be angry with me and so disapointed in me.

Something that I heard that sounds so good to me, maybe someone else might like it too.
Where are you going? Faith is energized by dreaming about the future, while fear gets its strength from rehearsing the past. You are either a prisoner of your past, or a pioneer of your future.
That makes me eager to learn what God wants me to do. I believe that I'm off to a good start, but I can be impatient sometimes. I feel for people who struggle with sin/addictions, because I have had my fair share of struggles and I believe that between my wife and I, we can encourage others with the Word of God. We need to know that God is not disappointed with us. He loves us all.

Here's what God has to say about Himself.
Exodus 34:6-7 "And he passed in front of Moses, proclaiming, 'The LORD, the LORD, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness, maintaining love to thousands, and forgiving wickedness, rebellion and sin. Yet he does not leave the guilty unpunished; he punishes the children and their children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation.'"
"Maintaining love"...what a powerful concept. To know that there's a God out there who not only loves us once, but always and forever.

Sorry I didn't see this godhelpme. Yes, you can post here. We do not want debates in the devotion areas though. They are like mini lessons to help us learn who we are in Christ so we can live out the freedom Jesus provided for us.

Ephesians 3: 18-19 May [you] be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height; to know the love of Christ which passes kowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
God's love surpasses what we can even imagine.
John 17:22-23 [Jesus said,] The glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one: I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.
"and have loved them as You have loved Me." - God the Father loves us just as much as He loves Jesus- Himself
